Disciples |
|
Meets in Room 21
The Disciple’s Class considers ourselves as family and we welcome everyone. This class is very open to all questions and comments. The majority of our studies are from well known authors in the Christian community. We have studied Max Lucado, Charles Stanley, John Piper, John Ortberg, Lee Strobel, and Francis Chan. Our lessons are thought provoking and appropriate for today’s life issues. Our greatest desire is to have such a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ that He is exalted through our WORDS, WALK, AND WORK. And WHEN needed He alters our will and our way.

Homebuilders |
|
Meets in Room 7
The Homebuilders Sunday School Class is an interesting group of
independent thinkers who have lively discussions centered
around the International Bible Lessons. Our teacher is
Steve Utley. We have humor, serious discussions, and
one can find our class by the smell of the coffee perking.
We have get-togethers at least every
other month and can often be found enjoying "treats" with
our coffee in the informal setting in the classroom on Sunday
mornings. We like to feed the body as well as
the spirit.
New members are always welcome and one
could look far and wide and not find a group who is more
supportive of each other than the Homebuilders. We have
various mission projects which we support such as The Light
House for homeless, Methodist Children's Home, The Marion
Soup Kitchen, and missionary Paul Utley in Thailand. We
have singles and couples and extend an invitation to all
who would like to join us.

Family Faith & Personality |
Meets in Room 24
Do you ever feel you “aren’t
on the same page” with your spouse or child? Conflicts
and misunderstandings happen, and you don’t know why. We will look at the four different personalities and the
questions
- Who am I?
- Who are you?
- How can we minimize the challenges and enhance the strengths or our
relationships?
- In regards to our parental responsibilities– how can I better relate to my child?
The class will cover
these questions and more for six weeks discussing faith
and family life together.
